Four people were taken to the hospital with injuries after two accidents that occurred Saturday afternoon on U.S. Highway 75 in Sherman.
Just after 3 p.m. Saturday, a motorcycle traveling northbound on Highway 75 crashed near the Washington Street cross street, officials at the scene said. Shortly thereafter, a car traveling southbound on Highway 75 at the same cross street struck another car.
Altogether, four people were injured in the two accidents. Responders airlifted one of those injured to a Dallas-area hospital because of a severe hand injury, officials said. The other three injured persons were taken to local hospitals. All injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
