The Grayson County Tax office and Vehicle Registration office want to help those county residents who have trouble getting to the offices before they closes on week days. In an effort to do that, on Jan. 6, and each Monday thereafter, the Tax and Motor Vehicle offices at the Grayson County Courthouse will remain open until 5:30 p.m..
“We’re always trying to find ways to provide better service for our customers,” said Grayson County Tax Assessor-Collector Bruce Stidham. “By extending our office hours at the courthouse on Mondays, we hope to help alleviate some of the hassles of having to take your lunch time or having to leave work early to conduct business with our office.”
The extended hours apply only to the tax and motor vehicle office in the Grayson County Courthouse in Sherman. The office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays through Fridays. Hours at the Whitesboro, Van Alstyne and Denison sub-courthouse locations remain unchanged.
