Faith Church presents the Easter musical ‘Grace That Amazes,’ April 19 & 20

SHERMAN — Faith Church welcomes all to come see and hear the engaging Easter musical “Grace That Amazes” on April 19 and 20. The musical will be performed by the Faith Church Choir and Orchestra.

To celebrate Easter is to realize the amazing gift of God’s grace — a gift unearned and undeserved. It is seeing that gift as if for the first time with new eyes, realizing that it was purchased by the blood of Jesus as the price for our sins.

“Grace That Amazes”, from veteran arrangers Claire Cloninger and Lari Goss, uses narration and song to invite each listener to encounter the gift of grace. The performances include drama to bring the story to life. With a broad range of music from soaring, dramatic arrangements to upbeat gospel-style anthems, the message of Grace that Amazes is simple, powerful, and direct. It takes us on a journey through the chronology of God’s grace beginning with mankind’s sin in the Garden, Jesus’ work on earth, the heart-wrenching crucifixion and culminating with Resurrection Sunday.

Performances will be held Saturday, April 19 at 7 p.m. and Easter Sunday, April 20 at 11 a.m. at Faith Church. Admission to “Grace That Amazes” is free and a nursery will be provided for both performances.

Reverend Charles Glass is the pastor of Faith Church. The church is located at 1800 Heritage Parkway (at Highway 1417 and Taylor) in Sherman, Texas. For more information, call 903-893-0349 or visit the church website at
