BONHAM — Stanley R. and Lee Frances Dodson will be honored Dec. 25 with a small family reception in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple married Dec. 15, 1962 at the home of Lloyd and Doris Dodson in Bonham.
Lee Frances (Fogle) (Goodwin) Dodson was born in Lamasco and attended a number of Fannin County schools. She was employed at Bonham Manufacturing and Texas Instruments in Dallas and in Sherman before retiring.
Stanley Dodson was born in Elwood and graduated from Bonham High School. He served in the United States Army and retired from General Cable in Bonham after 30-plus years of service. He is a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Both are members of the Boyd Baptist Church in Bonham.
The Dodsons’ children are Mary Lou (Goodwin) Reynolds and her husband, Danny, Jack Goodwin and his wife, Regina, Alan Dodson, Phyllis Dodson and her husband, Tom Ceglia, Terry (Dodson) Bailey and her husband, Bob, and Rhonda (Dodson) Latz and her husband, Ralph. There are numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
