Larry and Jeanie Guilloud of Pottsboro marked their 50th anniversary with a family celebration at Fulbelli’s Restaurant in Sherman. Hosts were their children. Earlier this year, the Guillouds took their family on a Caribbean cruise as part of the celebration.
The Guillouds were married Sept. 7, 1963 at the First Baptist Church in Sherman. Officiating was Dr. Tom Brandon. Honor attendants were Linda Thurston, sister of the groom, and Garry Guilloud, brother of the groom.
Jeanie Guilloud is the daughter of the late Marc and Opal Winn of Denison. She graduated from Thomas A. Edison High School in San Antonio and North Texas State University. She was a teacher in the Dallas and Pottsboro school districts before retiring after 27 years of service.
Larry Guilloud was born in Pottsboro, sons of the late Lee and Fay Guilloud. He graduated from Denison High School and North Texas State University and worked for IBM and Oscar Mayer Foods, retiring after 30 years of service. He currently serves on the board of Landmark Bank in Pottsboro.
The Guillouds have been active in ranching through the years. They also enjoy traveling and spending time with their family, especially their granddaughters, and are active members of Hagerman Baptist Church.
The couple’s children are Mark Gilloud and his wife, Angela, and Jennifer Graley and her husband, Gary. They also have six granddaughters.
