Stephens — 60th


POTTSBORO — Bob and Juanita Stephens of Pottsboro celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a party on July 13 at the Hilton in Grapevine. Family and friends attended.

The Stephenses were married in Clayton, N.M. Witnesses were Opal Stephens and Peggy Stephens, mother and sister of Bob Stephens, and Eugene Proffitt.

Juanita (Mitchell) Stephens is from Panhandle. She is a housewife and mother and worked in an auto parts store the couple purchased in Pottsboro.

Bob Stephens was born in Pottsboro then lived in Borger. He worked as the circulation manager in several newspapers including the Sherman Democrat, owned and operated an auto parts store in Pottsboro and now sells real estate in the Texomaland area.

The Stephens’ children are Debbie Lee and her husband Todd of Lewisville and Deana Wright and her husband Stuart of Sherman. They have two granddaughters, two great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild.
