15th state Court Dispositions for August


Grayson County District Attorney Joe Brown recently released a list of cases cleared from district courts in the county. The following cases were cleared from the docket in the 15th state District Court:

Barry Greenlee, 48, from Nobility, pleaded guilty to indecency with child – sexual contact and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. greenlee also pleaded guilty to indecency with a child – exposes and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Randall Carter, 37, from Denison, pleaded guilty to possession of controlled substance – intent to deliver-methamphetamine and was sentenced to 17 years in prison.

Clinton Curtis ,26, from Gordonville, pleaded guilty to burglary of habitation and theft of property less than $200,000 and was sentenced to 15 years in prison on each charge. Curtis also pleaded guilty to manufacture delivery controlled substance – methamphetamine and was sentenced to 10 years in prison and pleaded guilty to two offenses of burglary of building and was sentenced to two years in state jail on each charge.

Maranda Brown, 37, from Denison, pleaded guilty to two charges of possession of controlled substance –intent to deliver – methamphetamine and was sentenced to 15 years in prison on each case.

Shawn Forster, 37, from Gainesville, pleaded guilty to theft of property over $1,500 less than $20,000 and possession of controlled substance - methamphetamine and was sentenced to 10 years in prison on each charge to run concurrent.

Randy Hames, 46, from Whitewright, was sentenced to seven years in prison for failing to comply with the terms of his probation previously granted for possession of controlled substance – methamphetamine.

Juan Barahona, 50, from Mesquite, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated 3rd or more and was sentenced to six years in prison.

Phelan Guess,28, from Sherman, was sentenced to five years in prison for failing to comply with the terms of his probation previously granted for Possession of Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine.

Larry Bowens, 31, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to Unlawful Possession of Firearm By Felon and was sentenced to three years in prison and a $1,000 fine. Bowens also pleaded guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to one year in state jail.

Lauren Graybill Ritchie, 25, from Pottsboro, was sentenced to 18 months state jail for failing to comply with the terms of her probation previously granted for forgery of a financial instrument and was sentenced to 18 months in state jail for failing to comply with the terms of her probation previously granted for theft of wire/cable 50% aluminum/bronze/copper less than $20,000, sentenced to 18 months in state jail for failing to comply with the terms of her probation previously granted for credit card abuse and also pleaded guilty to two charges of endanger child criminal negligence and was sentenced to 18 months state jail on each to run concurrent.

Michael Hyatt, 23, from Sadler, was sentenced to 18 months state jail for failing to comply with the terms of his probation previously granted for burglary of building. Hyatt also was sentenced to 18 months state jail for failing to comply with the terms of his probation previously granted for a second charge of burglary of building.

Timothy Lemon Collins, Jr., 40, from Princeton, pleaded guilty to possession of controlled substance – methamphetamine and was sentenced to 18 months state jail.

James Fetz, Jr., 31, from Sherman, was sentenced to 16 months in state jail for failing to comply with the terms of his probation previously granted for forgery of a financial instrument, and was sentenced to 16 months in state jail for failing to comply with the terms of his probation previously granted for credit card/debit card abuse and sentenced to 16 months in state jail for failing to comply with the terms of his probation previously granted for credit card/debit card abuse. Fetz pleaded guilty to an additional charge of credit card/debit card abuse and was sentenced to 12 months state jail.

Michael Hickman, 27, from Sherman, was sentenced to 15 months in state jail for failing to comply with the terms of his probation previously granted for endangering a child and was sentenced to 15 months in state jail for failing to comply with the terms of his probation previously granted for possession of controlled substance – methamphetamine.

Michael Maloy, 28, from McKinney, was sentenced to 15 months in state jail for failing to comply with the terms of his probation previously granted for two counts of debit card/credit card abuse.

John Brigman, 37, from Denison, was sentenced to one year in state jail for failing to comply with the terms of his probation previously granted for possession of controlled substance – methamphetamine.

Paul Beckley, 35, from denison, pleaded guilty to possession of controlled substance – intent to deliver – methamphetamine and was sentenced to 12 months in state jail and a $250 fine.

Monica Gott, 37, from gainesville, pleaded guilty to possession of controlled substance – methamphetamine and was sentenced to 12 months in state jail.

William Boatner, 32, from denison, pleaded guilty to possession of controlled substance – methamphetamine and was sentenced to nine months in state jail and a $1,000 fine.

Colby Lynch, 21, from sherman, pleaded guilty to theft of property over $1,500 under $20,000 and was sentenced to six months in state jail.

Missy Fuqua, 25, from Denison, was sentenced to 180 days in state jail for failing to comply with the terms of her probation previously granted for abandon endanger child criminal negligence.

joseph Grigerek, 51, from Wylie, was found guilty by the judge of burglary of a habitation and was sentenced to eight years in prison, probated for five years, and a $1,000 fine. Grigerek pleaded guilty to injury to a child and was sentenced to eight years in prison, probated for five years, and pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to five years deferred adjudication probation.

Anthony Balcazar, 36, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to racing on highway causing serious bodily injury and was sentenced to eight years in prison, probated five years, and a $750 fine.

John Duncan, 43, from Whitesboro, pleaded guilty to hinder apprehension or prosecution known felon and was sentenced to four years in prison, probated four years, and a $1,000 fine.

keri fleming, 46, from Bells, was found guilty by a jury and sentenced by the jury to two years in prison, probated for five years, and a $500 fine for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Jermeka Briscoe, 32, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to two charges of abandon endanger child criminal negligence and was sentenced to two years in state jail, probated for four years, and a $750 fine. Briscoe also pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana over 4 oz less than 5 lbs and was sentenced to two years in state jail, probated for four years.

David Gravette, 43, from Whitesboro, pleaded guilty to possession of controlled substance – methamphetamine and was sentenced to two years in state jail, probated four years, and a $1,200 fine.

James Ellis, 28, from Kemp, pleaded guilty to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and was sentenced to two years in state jail, probated four years, and a $750 fine.

Willis Bishop, 43, from Pottsboro, was sentenced to eight months in state jail for failing to comply with the terms of his probation previously granted for Possession of Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine.

Shane Cheshier, 25, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to fail to register as sex offender and was sentenced to two years in state jail, probated for four years, and a $500 fine.

Donna Bellamy, 49, from Whitesboro, pleaded guilty to possession of controlled substance – methamphetamine and was sentenced to two years state jail, probated three years, and an $800 fine.

Porsha Bell, 20, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to two charges of possession of controlled substance –methamphetamine and was sentenced to five years deferred adjudication probation on each and a $1,000 fine.

Shanna Carpenter, 33, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to four years deferred adjudication probation and a $1,000 fine.

Shyla Brehm, 32, from Whitesboro, pleaded guilty to fraud possession controlled substance prescription –hydrocodone and was sentenced to four years deferred adjudication probation and a $750 fine.

Tyson Andrews, 18, from Denison, pleaded guilty to theft of property over $1,500 under $20,000 and was sentenced to four years deferred adjudication probation and a $750 fine.

Tyler Denny, 25, from Denison, pleaded guilty to criminal mischief over $500 less than $20,000 and was sentenced to four years deferred adjudication probation and a $250 fine.

Terri Busch, 26, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to fraud use/poss identifying info and was sentenced to four years deferred adjudication probation and a $500 fine.

Craig Babb, 29, from Denison, pleaded guilty to credit card/debit card abuse and was sentenced to four years deferred adjudication probation, a $250 fine, and 30 days in county jail.

Jo Anna Flores, 42, from Amarillo, pleaded guilty to false statement to obtain property or credit and was sentenced to three years deferred adjudication probation and a $750 fine.
