59th District Court dispositions


Grayson County District Attorney Joe Brown released this week a list of people whose cases were resolved in local district courts during the month of December. The following cases were resolved in the 59th State District Court:

Robin Parish, 34, from Arizona, was sentenced to five years in prison on each, for failing to comply with the terms of her deferred adjudication probation previously granted for two cases of sexual assault of a child. Parish also pleaded guilty to five cases of violation of sex offender duty to register and was sentenced to two years in prison on each.

John Johnson, 32, from Sherman, pleaded guilty, without a plea agreement, to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver – methamphetamine and was sentenced by the judge to 15 years in prison.

Enrique Medina, 42, from Denison, pleaded guilty to two charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver – methamphetamine and was sentenced to 15 years in prison on each.

Gregory Harris, 43, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to assault family member with previous convictions and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Marcus McGinnis, 39, from temple, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana over 4 pounds under 5 pounds and was sentenced to eight years in prison.

Jarrell Moore, 22, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery and was sentenced to six years in prison. Moore was also sentenced to six years in prison for failing to comply with the terms of his deferred adjudication probation previously granted for burglary of habitation.

James Stanley, 23, from Denison, pleaded guilty, without a plea agreement, to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver-methamphetamine and was sentenced by the judge to six years in prison. Stanley also pleaded guilty, without a plea agreement, to possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine and was sentenced by the judge to two years in state jail.

Johnny McCartney, 18, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to burglary of habitation and was sentenced to four years in prison.

James Mollenhour, 40, from Denton, was sentenced to four years in prison for failing to comply with the terms of his probation previously granted for retaliation.

Jared Hale, 27, from Denison, was sentenced to four years in prison for failing to comply with the terms of his deferred adjudication probation previously granted for injury to a child. Hale also was sentenced to four years in prison for failing to comply with the terms of his deferred adjudication probation previously granted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Cade Lee, 30, from Princeton, was sentenced to four years in prison for failing to comply with the terms of his probation previously granted for driving while intoxicated-3rd or more.

Kristie Phillips, 33, from Denison, was sentenced to four years in prison for failing to comply with the terms of her probation previously granted for possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine in a drug free zone and was sentenced to two years in state jail for failing to comply with the terms of her deferred adjudication probation previous granted for possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine.

Shawana Parker, 25, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana over 4 ounces under 5 pounds and was sentenced to two years in state jail.

Reggi Bowman, 29, from Collinsville, pleaded guilty to burglary of a building and was sentenced to two years in state jail.

Robert Taylor, 31, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine and was sentenced to nine months in state jail.

Lani Jeffries, 18, from Howe, was sentenced to nine months in state jail for failing to comply with the terms of his deferred adjudication probation previously granted for credit card/debit card abuse. Jeffries also pleaded guilty to forgery and was sentenced to nine months in state jail.

Daniel Larance, 20, from Whitesboro, was sentenced to nine months in state jail for failing to comply with the terms of his deferred adjudication probation previously granted for debit card abuse.

Princeton Johnson, 17, from Denison, pleaded guilty to theft of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance cocaine and was sentenced to six months in state jail on each.

Spencer Northcott, 20, from Sherman, was sentenced to six months in state jail for failing to comply with the terms of his probation previously granted for theft of property over $1,500 under $20,000.

Johnny McCartney, 18, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to theft of wire under $20,000 and burglary of a building and was sentenced to one year in state jail on each.

Raymond Johnson, 29, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to assault bodily injury/family violence and was sentenced to 10 years in prison, probated for five years, and a $2,000 fine.

Cody Links, 35, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated-3rd or more and was sentenced to 10 years in prison, probated for five years, and a $500 fine.

Mary Howell, 61, from Dorchester, pleaded guilty to burglary of a habitation and was sentenced to 10 years in prison, probated for five years, and a $750 fine.

Larry Cline, 51, from Denison, pleaded guilty to burglary of a habitation and was sentenced to eight years in prison, probated for five years, and a $1,500 fine.

Ashley Harwell, 45, from Denison, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine and was sentenced to four years in prison, probated for five years, and a $500 fine. Harwell also was sentenced to two years in state jail, probated for five years, for failing to comply with the terms of her probation previous grated for possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine.

Michael Nix, 41, from Howe, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine and was sentenced to two years in state jail, probated for four years, and a $1,000 fine.

Tobi Hunt, 48, from Denison, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to eight years deferred adjudication probation and a $1,000 fine.

John Love, 31, from Denison, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine and was sentenced to five years deferred adjudication probation and a $1,000 fine.

Christina Michaud, 41, from Savoy, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine and forgery of a financial instrument and was sentenced to five years deferred adjudication probation and a $750 fine.

Troy Leonard, 28, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to two cases of possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine and forgery of a financial instrument and was sentenced to five years deferred adjudication probation and a $750 fine on each.

Britt Jones, 45, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to theft of property over $1,500 under $20,000 and was sentenced to five years deferred adjudication probation and a $500 fine.

Jeffrey Hunter, 21, from Sherman, pleaded guilty without a plea agreement, to assault on a public servant and robbery and was sentenced by the judge to five years deferred adjudication probation on each case and a $1,000 fine.

Marice Coble, 38, from Achile, Okla., pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine and was sentenced to four years deferred adjudication probation and a $750 fine.

Paul Houston, 45, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance cocaine and was sentenced to four years deferred adjudication probation and a $1,000 fine.

Sammy Harris, 32, from Dallas, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and was sentenced to four years deferred adjudication probation and a $750 fine.

Ricky Dale Logan Jr., 33, from Pottsboro, pleaded guilty to burglary of a building and was sentenced to three years deferred adjudication probation and a $1,000 fine.

Janet Martin, 45, from Denison, pleaded guilty to bail jumping failure to appear and was sentenced to two years deferred adjudication probation and a $500 fine.
