Cases cleared from 397th state District Court docket in June


The Grayson County District Attorney’s Office recently released a list of people whose cases were cleared from the docket in the 397th state District Court in June. The following names were on that list.

Bryan Smith, 45 from Howe, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated 3rd of more and was sentenced to 12 years in prison and a $250 fine.

Michael Sisemore, 59, from Denison, pleaded guilty to two charges of indecency of a child-sexual conduct and one charge of sexual assault of a child and was sentenced to 12 years in prison on all three charges.

Roy Polmanter, 24, from Denison, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to seven years in prison. Polmanter also pleaded guilty to one charge of endanger a child-criminal negligence and one charge of burglary of a building and was sentenced to two years in state jail on both charges.

Tyler Rasica, 19, from Sherman, was sentenced to five years in prison and a $2,000 fine for failing to comply with the terms of probation previously granted for organized retail theft over $1,500 under $20,000.

Alexander Wesley, 20, from Lewisville, was sentenced to five years in prison for failing to comply with the terms of probation previously granted for two charges of assault of a public servant.

Charles Smith, 36, from Wichita, Kans., pleaded guilty to organized retail theft over $1,500 under $20,000 and was sentenced to four years in prison.

Armando Soto, 29, from Bells, pleaded guilty to evading arrest with a motor vehicle, with a previous conviction and was sentenced to four years in prison.

Daniel Zamora, 20, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with deadly weapon and was sentenced to four years in prison and a $500 fine. Zamora also pleaded guilty to Fail to Appear and was sentenced to two years in prison.

Kathryn Spillers, 46, from Denison, was sentenced to three years in prison for failing to comply with the terms of probation previously granted for burglary of a habitation.

Steven Taylor, 54, from Powderly, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated 3rd or more and was sentenced to three years in prison.

Katie Wise, 24, from Gordonville, pleaded guilty to evading arrest with motor vehicle and was sentenced to three years in prison. Wise also pleaded guilty to possession of controlled substance-methamphetamine and was sentenced to five years in prison, probated for five years.

Shelia Wilson, 47, from Whitesboro, was sentenced to 30 months in prison for failing to comply with the terms of probation previously granted for retaliation.

Laney Trammell, 53, from Sherman, was sentenced to two years in prison for failing to comply with the terms of probation previously granted for assault causing bodily injury to a family member.

Larry Owens Jr., 28, from Dallas, was sentenced to six years in state jail for failing to comply with the terms of probation previously granted for possession of controlled substance – cocaine.

Lance Tollifson, 47, from Gainesville, pleaded guilty to fail to appear and was sentenced to two years in state jail. Tollifson also pleaded guilty to theft of property under $1,500 with two or more previous convictions and was sentenced to 20 months in state jail and a $250 fine.

Shalon Washington, 37, from Denison, was sentenced to 18 months in state jail for failing to comply with the terms of probation previously granted for debit card abuse.

Dennis Sampson, 53, from Cartwright, Okla., pleaded guilty to theft of property under $1,500 with two or more previous convictions and was sentenced to seven months in state jail.

Howard Patterson, 52, from Colbert, Okla., was sentenced to six months in state jail for failing to comply with the terms of probation previously granted for possession of controlled substance-cocaine.

Lee Stevenson, 58, from Sherman, pleaded guilty to harassment by a person in correctional facility and was sentenced to eight years in prison, probated for four years, and a $250 fine.

Robert Singleton, 27, from Denison, pleaded guilty to burglary of a building and was sentenced to four years deferred adjudication probation and a $500 fine.

Shani Young, 43, from Pottsboro, pleaded guilty to theft of property under $1,500 with two or more previous convictions and was sentenced to four years deferred adjudication probation and a $500 fine.

Donna Parks, 30, from Denison, pleaded guilty to theft of copper and was sentenced to nine months deferred adjudication probation.
