Grayson County indictments


Grayson County District Attorney Joe Brown on Thursday released a list of people who were indicted this week. The indictments are formal charges and are not an indication of guilt. The following people were indicted:

• Christina Dorries, 28, of Denison — evading arrest with a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver;

• James Nelson, 35, of Dallas — three counts of criminal non-support;

• Jerry Mattox II, 34, of Sherman — possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver

• Heather Bardwell, 20, of Gran Prairie — credit card abuse;

• Cleoda Cook III, 41, of Sherman — possession of a controlled substance;

• Christopher Henry, 22, of Gainesville — possession of a controlled substance

• Alberto Guerrero, 25, of Whitewright — possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver;

• James Bowles, Jr., 29 of Whitewright — theft of property;

• Dana Claypool, 55, of Denison — theft of property;

• Christina Dorries, 28, of Denison — possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver’

• Andrew Wood, 47, of Whitesboro — two counts of violation of bond and a protective order and stalking;

• David Burris, 50, of Sadler — assault causing bodily injury;

• Steven Mendez, 30, of Collinsville — evading arrest with a motor vehicle;

• Stephen Hardern, 50, of Pottsboro — assault causing bodily injury impeding breath;

• William Patterson, 38, of Sherman — evading arrest with a motor vehicle and tampering with physical evidence;

• Jason Watson, 39, of Denison — aggravated assault with a deadly weapon;

• Paul Beckley, 34, of Denison — possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver;

• Timothy Weimer, 26, of Sherman — injury to a child.
