Two burglary attempts early Thursday are believed by Sherman police to be the work of a single man.
At approximately 4:30 a.m. Thursday, a person attempted to burglarize the Get-N-Go convenience store at 2001 S. Crockett. The suspect smashed the front glass doors of the business but was unable to enter the store due to the security bars mounted to the inside of the doors, according to the report.
At approximately 5:16 a.m., a suspect broke into the CICOST Credit Union at 401 W. Wilson in Sherman. The person smashed the front glass door and entered into the credit union but was not able to enter the vault area, and no money was taken.
The same suspect is believed to be responsible for both burglaries, Sherman police report. Surveillance photos of the suspect show him to most likely be a white male, 20-to-30 years of age, with brown, collar-length hair. He was wearing an oversized camouflage jacket, camo hat, orange gloves, and blue jeans.
Anyone with information on these burglaries or anyone who may recognize the suspect is encouraged to contact the Sherman Police Department at 903-892-7290.
