BONHAM — A second teen-ager who was involved in an accident early Saturday morning in Fannin County has died from his injuries. Thomas Calame, 18, of Bonham died 40 hours after the accident on Sunday, according to his obituary, which was released Tuesday.
Bonham High School senior Jesse Runyon, who was also in the vehicle, died from his injuries on Saturday.
Texas Department of Public Safety troopers said Mr. Calame and Mr. Runyon were both thrown from the car on Highway 78 north of Bonham, after it went into a curve and then off the side of the road before striking a tree. Neither Mr. Calame nor Mr. Runyon were wearing seat belts, troopers reported.
