A worker removes the letters from the TrailBlazer building in Denison on Monday. The company was out-bid last year for the contract local workers service. A company spokesman said the signage removal is a part of the parent company’s efforts to clean up the building and prepare it for sale or lease. The spokesman said TrailBlazer began with its main layoffs in Denison on Nov. 10. Approximately 170 employees still remain at the Denison location working to closeout the contract and working on other contracts. The rest of the employees will be let go over the coming months through April. To fill the gap left by the company’s departure, there are two new companies considering Denison as a home, but the prospects’ pending government contracts likely won’t be decided until January.
