MUSKOGEE, Okla. — An 18-year-old Frisco woman who had been reported missing has been found in Oklahoma.
Officials say Bethany Stroud was located in Muskogee on Saturday. Frisco police said in a news release that Stroud is under the care of law enforcement authorities, and that Frisco detectives were en route to speak with her about her disappearance.
Officials say the teen called police in Texas on Friday, saying she had been abducted after leaving her job at the Dr Pepper Arena.
Police said Stroud drove to a fast-food restaurant in Muskogee and asked for help about 10 p.m. Saturday. Muskogee police didn’t immediately return a call seeking comment on Sunday. Frisco police say the case remains under investigation.
