DURANT — South-eastern got the bats moving on Tuesday afternoon, picking up 16 hits over two games en route to a doubleheader sweep of Tarleton State, winning 6-2 and 6-3.
In Game 2, Evan Ramsey blasted his first grand slam of the season and third home run overall. Ryan Salter and Tucker Alexander each added RBIs.
In the opener, Chevis Springer, Aaron Chalk and Mark Frank each posted two-hit outings as the Storm collected a total of 11 hits. David Cagle earned the win after tossing 4 2/3 innings without allowing a run and striking out six.
The Savage Storm (7-6) head into an important home conference series with Harding that begins with a noon doubleheader on Saturday.
