Didn’t get to make it to the 2013 Bassmaster Classic held last weekend on Oklahoma’s Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees?
Never fear, because the B.A.S.S. television cameras did.
This weekend, bass fishing fans will get to see all of the excitement from Classic #43, won last Sunday evening in dramatic fashion by Mississippi pro Cliff Pace.
Five hours of ESPN2 Classic television coverage begins Saturday, March 2, at 8 a.m. (CST) with Day 1 coverage. The coverage continues through Sunday, March 3, when the final show airs at 9 p.m. (CST) with the crowning of Pace as this year’s world champion.
Viewers will get to see Pace’s angling efforts on Grand along with the dramatic and heartbreaking scene at the Classic weigh-in stage when runner-up Brandon Palaniuk and third place finisher Hank Cherry came up just short.
Throughout the five hours of ESPN2 programming, veteran B.A.S.S. commentators Mark Zona and Tommy Sanders will call the action. Special guests Gerald Swindle, Byron Velvick, and 2012 Bassmaster Classic champion Chris Lane will also lend commentary to this weekend’s coverage.
