FLOWER MOUND — The Sherman boys doubles team of Thomas Dickson and Bradley Dye won the Flower Mound Marcus Invitational on Friday.
Dickson and Dye defeated a team from Grapevine, 6-1, 6-4, in the final after straight-set victories against teams from Keller, Frisco and Grapevine’s other entry in the tournament.
Teammate Sarah Walker came away with the girls singles consolation title. After a first-round loss, Walker bounced back with three straight wins, including an 8-2 victory against Denton Ryan’s Katie Eastman in the consolation final.
Sherman returns to action this Friday and Saturday at the Coppell Tournament.
