COLLINSVILLE — Willie Winborne ran for 320 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries as S&S defeated Collinsville, 41-19, in non-district action on Friday night.
The Rams (2-0) did almost all of their scoring on the ground as Reed Collum’s only completion in six attempts was a 60-yard TD pass to Drew Dutton. Wyatt Maher had 135 yards and a pair of touchdowns on five carries for S&S, which finished with 529 yards.
John Lewis had 88 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries while Connor Daley finished with a touchdown run and Hayden Smith ran 14 times for 63 yards for Collinsville (1-1).
Bells 34, Trenton 12
BELLS — Ethan Sanford and Noah Straw each ran for touchdown and added a TD pass as Bells defeated Trenton.
Weston Russell started the scoring with a 55-yard interception return while Chris Hall and Robert Mijarez caught the touchdown passes for Bells (1-1).
Kylie Wylie finished with six catches for 136 yards and a pair of touchdown catches for Trenton (0-2). Kever Wylie was 12-of-24 passing for 211 yards and ran for 43 yards on 10 carries.
Gainesville 21, Iowa Park 2
WICHITA FALLS — Mason Copeland threw a pair of touchdown passes as Gainesville defeated Iowa Park in a non-district contest at Memorial Stadium on Saturday night.
Devin Mims had a 42-yard TD grab, Demarius Farr caught a 45-yard touchdown and Anthony White returned a fumble 44 yards for a score for Gainesville (2-0).
Iowa Park (1-1) avoided the shutout with a sack in the end zone late in the third quarter.
Celina 48, Crandall 7
CRANDALL — Nathan Elliott threw two touchdown passes and ran for a pair of scores as Celina defeated Crandall.
Elliott completed 16-of-26 passes for 198 yards while running for 77 yards on seven carries for Celina (2-0), which had a 34-7 half-time lead. DeShawn Davis and Jarren Alexander ran for touchdowns, Cash Conder and Luke Reeder hauled in the TD catches and Connor Torbert added a 42-yard punt return for a score for the Bobcats.
P. Point 43, Lindsay 7
PILOT POINT — Tristan Jurecka ran for 106 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries as Pilot Point defeated Lindsay.
DaCoven Bailey had 77 yards receiving and a TD to go with 76 yards rushing, Xavier Alexander completed 8-of-14 passes for 131 yards and a score and Ramiro Mendoza kicked a pair of field goals for Pilot Point (1-1), which led 43-0 through three quarters.
Caleb Anderle had a two-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter for Lindsay (0-2), which finished with 109 yards.
Callisburg 42, Valley View 21
CALLISBURG — Rheyce Childress threw a pair of TD passes to Gage Oppel and Callisburg exploded for five second-half touchdowns to rally past Valley View.
Jake Parker had 131 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries while Mason Langthorn, Eli Hollandsworth and Blake Berryman added TD runs for Callisburg, which trailed, 14-7, at half-time.
Valley View (1-1) finished with just 267 yards and had a pair of turnovers.
Prairiland 7, Whitewright 0
WHITEWRIGHT — Zac Pointer’s one-yard run in the first half provided all the scoring Prairiland needed in a non-district victory against Whitewright.
Jefferson Ballard was 8-of-22 passing with two interceptions while Ben Herman ran 14 times for 61 yards for Whitewright (0-2).
Prairiland (2-0) won despite gaining just 165 yards. Pointer had 10 carries for 51 yards and was 5-of-10 passing for 70 yards.
Wolfe City 47, Tom Bean 27
WOLFE CITY — Hunter Book threw for 256 yards and two touchdowns while also running for a score in Tom Bean’s non-district loss to Wolfe City.
Daniel Jackson caught four passes for 90 yards and a touchdown to go with 44 yards on 10 carries while Tanner Ellis had 78 yards on six catches, Dalton Blassingame added four grabs for 70 yards and Dylan Ashlock caught a touchdown for Tom Bean (1-1).
Wolfe City (2-0) had a 35-14 half-time lead.
Era 46, Blue Ridge 6
ERA — Dakota Bell had five catches for 90 yards and a touchdown in Blue Ridge’s non-district loss to Era.
Ty Agan threw for 144 yards while Jacob Denison had eight carries for 29 yards to lead Blue Ridge (0-2), which plays Bells this week.
Fannindel 46, Tioga 0
LADONIA — Stephen Lock had 148 rushing yards and scored touchdowns all four times he touched the ball during Fannindel’s mercy-rule win over Tioga.
Lock counted scoring runs of 65, 17, 34 and 32 yards for the Falcons (2-0), who prompted the premature end by halftime. He has eight touchdowns through two games, including seven on the ground.
Quincy Cuba ran for two touchdowns and rushed for 82 yards on five carries for Fannindel while Akeyl Caesar added 45 rushing yards, scoring on one of his two carries.
