FRISCO — Jayzhia Softly scored a career-high 29 points on Tuesday night as Sherman’s girls rolled to a 65-43 non-district win over Frisco Lone Star.
Brelyn Keys added 13 points and Ashley Crockett 11 as the Lady Cats (10-4) used full-court pressure to spark a 23-12 second-quarter eruption to take the lead for good.
Zoie Miller led Lone Star (9-4) with 16 points.
The Lady Cats will host South Grand Prairie on Friday night in their final tune-up for District 13-4A play, which begins next Tuesday against McKinney North.
Gunter 53, Howe 45
GUNTER — Regan Hestand had 21 points, eight rebounds and five assists as Gunter defeated Howe.
Mikayla Watson added 12 points, four steals and three assists, Mackenzie Mazerolle scored nine points and Jamie Hughes chipped in six rebounds and three steals for Gunter (6-6), which faces Boswell (Okla.) in the Madill Tournament at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Riley Harvey scored 20 points, Baleigh Hudman had 11 points and Katy Courtney finished with eight points for Howe (7-3).
P’boro 50, Bonham 25
POTTSBORO — Macie O’Hanlon scored 14 points as Pottsboro defeated Bonham.
Casey Evans added 12 points while Hannah Varner and Brittany Rigg each had six points for Pottsboro (7-5), which hosts Howe on Tuesday night in the District 11-2A opener.
Leonard 44, Bells 34
BELLS — Taylor Bishop scored 14 points as Leonard defeated Bells.
Kacie McCarley added nine points and Shelby Zumwalt chipped in eight points for Leonard.
Carlee Shelby had eight points and five rebounds, Emily Fagan sored seven points and Callie Snyder added six points for Bells.
Anna 47, T. Bean 38
TOM BEAN — Denisha Hampton scored 19 points and Dee Moreno added 15, leading Anna to a non-district win.
The Lady Coyotes used a 15-5 third quarter to erase a one-point Tom Bean lead at the half. Sarah Henderson led the Lady Cats (5-7) with 12 points.
The Lady Cats are open this Friday and start district at home against Whitesboro next Tuesday.
Melissa 54, Gainesville 51
MELISSA — Whitney Taylor scored 24 points as Melissa defeated Gainesville.
Emily Bates had 10 points, Katie Webb added eight points and 10 rebounds and Keonni Conkle finished with seven points for Melissa (7-4), which plays Waco University on Thursday at the Fairfield Tournament.
Ariannah Kemp scored 14 points to lead Gainesville.
Whitewright 39, Lindsay 35
LINDSAY — Anna Shope had 15 points and four steals as Whitewright edged Lindsay.
Sydney Brummett added 14 points and four steals while Cassie Neel chipped in four points, five rebounds and four assists for Whitewright (6-5), which hosts Bells on Tuesday to open District 11-2A action.

SADLER — Brittany Lancaster had 15 points and 12 rebounds as S&S defeated Valley View.
Britney Williams scored nine points, Jessica Dyke added eight points and Harlie Mercer chipped in six points for S&S, which hosts a tournament starting on Thursday. The Lady Rams (4-5) open with a quarterfinal contest against McKinney Christian at 6 p.m.
Whitesboro 41, Trenton 35
WHITESBORO — Kerrigan McCanlies scored 10 points as Whitesboro rallied past Trenton.
Kristen Phelps had nine points and Alexus Vanlandingham added seven points for Whitesboro (2-7), which which will compete in the Community Tournament on Thursday.
Christina Acklin scored 14 points to lead Trenton.
Dodd City 42, Honey Grove 21
HONEY GROVE — Briann Hilliard, Lauren Hilliard and Keeshia Thompson had eight points each in Dodd City’s non-district win over Honey Grove.
Jenna Wallace scored seven points for the Lady Hornets (12-1), who didn’t allow a double-digit quarter.

ECTOR — Brittney Crowell scored 16 points as Ector edged Blue Ridge.
Cristi Abbott added nine points for the Lady Eagles (3-4).
Kinzie Garcia led Blue Ridge with nine points while Alley Sullivan added eight points.

COLLINSVILLE — Janice Harmon scored 11 points in Collinsville’s non-district loss to Celeste.
Brooke Johnson and Morgan Irelan each chipped in seven points for the Lady Pirates (3-4).
Campbell 74, Savoy 24
CAMPBELL — Emily Cornell had nine points and five rebounds in Savoy’s non-district loss to Campbell.
Jerica Isom and Lindsey Stone each chipped in five points for Savoy.
Texoma Christian 54, Bland 33
Haylie Ross had 14 points, eight rebounds and seven steals as Texoma Christian defeated Bland in non-district play on Tuesday night.
Hannah Bentsen added 12 points and Samantha Flanagan scored 10 points for Texoma Christian (12-1), which plays Era at 3 p.m. on Thursday in the S&S Tournament.
