First Team

First Base

Casey Welch, Jr., S&S

❖ Helped lead S&S to first playoff appearance in 30 years.

❖ Had a .491 batting average with nine doubles and 16 RBI.

Second Base

Ben Fisher, Sr., Gunter

❖ Was a first-team all-district selection in 12-2A.

❖ Had a .431 batting average with 35 RBI and 31 runs.

Third Base

Case Rolen, Sr., Sherman

❖ Was a first-team all-district selection in District 13-4A.

❖ Hit .306 with 25 RBI; Also was 8-1 with 1.70 ERA, 81 strikeouts in 61.2 innings.

Shortstop

Billy Pilkinton, Sr., Trenton

❖ Was a first-team all-district selection in District 16-A.

❖ Hit .453 with 10 doubles, 28 RBI, 48 runs and 39 stolen bases.

Infielder

Hayden Nikirk, Jr., Whitesboro

❖ Was the Co-Utility Player of the Year in 11-2A.

❖ Hit .467 with 10 doubles, 28 runs, 25 RBI and 13 steals. Also won two games, saved three.

Catcher

Will Olson, Sr., Sherman

❖ Was the Defensive MVP in District 13-4A.

❖ Hit .401 with a .549 on-base percentage, 11 doubles, 21 RBI and 23 walks.

❖ UT-Arlington signee helped lead the Bearcats to bi-district appearance.

Outfield

Randle Nix, Sr., Howe

❖ Was a first-team all-district selection in 11-2A.

❖ Had a .370 batting average with 20 steals and 41 runs scored.

Outfield

Cade Cruce, Sr., Melissa

❖ Picked as the Most Valuable Player in 12-3A.

❖ Hit .423 with 13 doubles, five homers and 25 RBI. Also won 7 games.

Outfield

Ty McKinney, Sr., Leonard

❖ 12-2A all-district first-teamer had a 1.63 ERA and 69 strikeouts.

❖ Hit .352 with 20 runs, 14 RBI and eight walks.

Utility

Kendall Kennedy, Jr., Bonham

❖ Named Co-Pitcher of the Year in 12-3A.

❖ Had 5 wins and two saves. Struck out 71. Also hit .328 with 13 RBI and 18 runs.

Designated Hitter

Ryan Johnson, Sr., Pottsboro

❖ Chosen as a first-team all-district infielder in District 11-2A.

❖ Had a .404 batting average with 19 walks and 12 doubles for district runner-up Cardinals.

Pitcher

❖ 12-2A all-district first-teamer finished with 52 strikeouts and had an earned run average of 1.32.

❖ Also hit .343 for the playoff-bound and third-place Panthers.
