American forces were surrounded by Chinese troops and became trapped after suffering a surprise attack in Korea close to the 38th Parallel (the line separating North and South Korea). It was 1950 and the area was hit by the coldest weather there in 100 years, inflicting 30 to 50 degrees below zero temperatures.

TxDOT Road Repair Report

Texas Department of Transportation has eight construction/maintenance contracts in the work between now and Sunday in Grayson and Fannin counties. Drivers should expect delays, lane closures, detours, and flaggers at these sites. TxDOT urges motorists to be extremely cautious when entering and when inside these and any other construction zones in the area.

Two Veterans Day events set in Bonham
